Family
Health

In partnership with the municipal government of Rio de Janeiro, Viva Rio currently provides universal health care to about 1.3 million people in 75 primary healthcare centers across the North and South zones of the city.

Primary care is about preventing health issues to guarantee long-term quality of life.

The Family Health doctors, nurses, social agents and other collaborators in each of our clinics form teams of skilled professionals that thake care of most health issues that are not emergency cases. They know their patients by name and visit those who need in their homes in a regular basis. Sometimes they articulate with other services, such as mental health care centers, for a complete treatment of the pacient.

OUR WORK

Vivo Rio responsibly and efficiently takes care of the following processes: personnel recruitment, supply of materials, maintenance of equipment and facilities, structural renovation, computerization, sanitary transportation, ongoing training and technical support for basic healthcare centers.
