Casa Viva Project

Casa Viva Project

Casas Vivas are temporary houses for children and adolescents who use drugs, mostly homeless.

The project is developed in partnership with the Department of Social Development (SMDS) of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro. It enables children, adolescents and their families to restore and claim their rights to social assistance, health services, education, justice and security, sport, leisure and culture. The preservation and strengthening family and community ties are strategies adopted by the project.
