CBDD

Viva Rio met, in 2009, 26 representatives of economic, religious corporate social sciences, judicial, police, artistic, sporting, scientific, medical, and for the formation of the Brazilian Commission on Drugs and Democracy (CBDD). The fundamental purpose of CBDD is to find new ways for a policy more efficient and equitable drugs.

Among the members are CBDD Paulo Gadelha, president of Fiocruz; Carlos Velloso and Ellen Gracie, former ministers of the Supreme Court; Edmar Bacha, economist and former president of the BNDES; João Roberto Marinho, vice president of Globo Organizations; and Congressman Paul Teixeira.
