The Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters of the United Nations Office of  Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) will hold its 60th session from June 26th to June 28th at the UN Office in Geneva.

The group will discuss the relations between nuclear-weapon-free zones in advancing regional and global security, as well as disarmament and security implications of emerging technologies.

The Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters was established in 1978 to advise the Secretary-General on matters within the area of arms limitation and disarmament, including on studies and research under the auspices of the United Nations or institutions within the United Nations system.
